Luna 49 Gold from 2021 pairs Hydranet sails with twin 57 hp Yanmar diesels, four double cabins and crew accommodation in a pre-owned sailing catamaran.

The hulls, deck and structure are infusion-moulded in female moulds, using glass laminate with vinylester resin and a PET foam core. Below the waterline there are two fixed mini keels and two composite rudders, with a draft of 1.40 m. Sail power comes from a square-top fully battened mainsail and a self-tacking jib on a furler, both in Hydranet, set on an aluminium mast and boom. A single flybridge helm station with hydraulic steering takes the mainsail controls and carries two Antal 52 electric winches, with a manual Antal 46 behind it. CE certification is class A for 12 persons and class C for 20.

Accommodation is arranged around four cabins with double berths and eight berths in these cabins, with four heads and further stowage in the hull passageways. Crew quarters are separate: a skipper cabin with its own toilet in the forepeak locker, plus a hostess cabin. On the bridgedeck, the saloon combines a dining table with fixed upholstered seating and a chart table prepared for electronics, while the galley is finished with a Corian worktop, a three-burner electric hob, an oven with microwave and a Vitrofrigo drawer fridge-freezer. Air conditioning serves the cabins and saloon, and relaxation areas are spread across the aft cockpit, the foredeck and the flybridge with sunpads.

The technical inventory includes a generator, a charger/inverter, 24 V and 220 V circuits with sockets in the cabins, at the chart table and in the galley, a shore power inlet with cable and four AGM service batteries. Fuel capacity totals 1000 l and fresh water 1000 l, complemented by a watermaker and two 60 l engine-fed calorifiers. Four electric marine heads are plumbed to black water tanks and there is a shower aft. Navigation equipment consists of a multifunction system at the helm, chartplotters at the helm and the chart table, GPS, VHF with a wireless H50 handset, wind, speed and depth instruments and an autopilot, with WiFi on board. Ground tackle comprises a Lewmar 2000 W electric windlass and a 40 kg Delta anchor with 50 m of chain, and a tender lifting system is fitted aft. EU VAT is unpaid.
