Bavaria Vision 46 2013 — BLUR
A Proven Ocean Cruiser, Sail in Style and Comfort — Never Chartered, Privately Owned, Ready to Go.
BLUR is a second-owner, private-use (never chartered) 2013 Bavaria Vision 46 yacht outfitted for comfortable and safe extended cruising, offered in the three-cabin, two-head layout. Designed by the legendary Bruce Farr of Farr Yacht Design and built by Bavaria Yachts, BLUR combines performance sailing with blue water capability and liveaboard comfort.
Current owner took possession BLUR in Grenada and enjoyed a season of sailing the Caribbean. A more than interesting opportunity has come, and owner chooses to sadly depart. BLUR is currently in Sint Maarten but will be stored on the hard in Antigua.
The unique cockpit design with offset companionway allows for a large port cockpit table that can be manually lowered and converted into a day/lounging bed, while the dual helms provide ergonomic seating. All winches and major lines are within easy reach, and the central halyard winch makes single-handing effortless. The Side-Power bow thruster makes docking, even in tricky situations, a breeze. The integrated bathing platform at the stern provides convenient access to the water.
With fixed hull ports, overhead fixed and opening hatches, and deck ports, the Vision 46 is bright and inviting below decks. The asymmetrical companionway creates a spacious pantry. The salon is cozy and flexible in use — in a few easy steps, the portside navigation table can be converted into a continuous bench. High-end finishing in combination with a beautifully-designed color concept lends this yacht its character.
BLUR has been meticulously maintained with new standing rigging installed in January 2025, a full suite of black Crusader sails made from Bainbridge HSX advanced material, solar charging, a Hydrovane self-steering wind vane for offshore passages, and a comprehensive suite of Garmin electronics.
She is ready for her next adventure.

INTERIOR ACCOMMODATIONS AND LAYOUT
The Bavaria Vision 46 offers a well-thought-out interior with a modern design philosophy. High-end finishing combined with a beautifully-designed color concept lends this yacht its luxurious character. White vinyl headliners with varnished teak strip interlay provide a bright and welcoming atmosphere throughout. The face veneer ply bulkheads are solid with no damage, and ocean liner flooring with face veneer wood over ply sole panels runs throughout the main cabin. LED lighting above and below decks, ocean air blinds and screens, and port window blinds complete the well-appointed interior.
BLUR features three cabins and two bathrooms in a layout that maximizes both privacy and sociability. A large master stateroom is forward with an island queen berth and ample stowage. Two aft double cabins — one to port (twin berths) accessible through the galley, and one to starboard accessible via the second bathroom — provide comfortable accommodation for guests. The salon flows naturally from the companionway into a flexible social space.

BROKER'S COMMENTS
Having spent time around a wide range of cruising sailboats, I find the Bavaria Vision 46 to be one of those yachts that immediately feels right the moment you step aboard. She was clearly designed with real owners in mind—easy to handle short-handed, exceptionally comfortable at anchor or underway, and with the kind of natural light, storage, and smart layout that makes extended time onboard genuinely enjoyable. For sailors looking for a yacht that blends true offshore capability with modern liveaboard comfort, the Vision 46 continues to impress me as a very well-thought-out package.
