Launched in 2024, this Futuna 50 built by Futuna Yachts embodies the yard's philosophy: an aluminium bluewater cruiser designed for long passages and high latitudes alike. With only a few hundred engine hours and a comprehensive specification, this pre-owned yacht presents in near-new condition, under FRANCE flag.
Serious build
The aluminium hull, the reference material for distant voyaging, brings strength and peace of mind far from technical facilities. Measuring 16.54 m overall with a 4.67 m beam and 2.49 m draft, she displaces 13,200 kg, giving her real presence in a breeze. The deck is laid in teak, while the rig features a fully battened in-mast mainsail, genoa, bowsprit and spinnaker rigging, with the boom fitted with lazy jacks and lazy bag for easy shorthanded handling.
Performance and range
The 75 hp YANMAR 4JH4-TE, a four-cylinder seawater-cooled unit, shows 368 hours. She cruises at 7 knots for around 2 l/h and reaches 13 knots. With 320 litres of diesel and 420 litres of fresh water, range matches the programme. Below, 3 cabins and 8 berths accommodate up to 8 people, with hot water, oven, electric refrigerator and hi-fi.
