Wikiwiki has taken our family to places we once only dreamed about.

With her, we crossed both the Atlantic and the Pacific, explored the Caribbean, Tahiti, Mexico and the US West Coast and most of all, we experienced the wild and beautiful coastline and islands of British Columbia in a truly special way.

She has always been more than just a boat.
She has been our home on the water, our safe haven, wherever we were.

At the same time, she is a true performance sailing machine.
There is nothing quite like the feeling of her flying across the water, fast, light and effortless. We often left much larger yachts far behind us, while sitting relaxed in the cockpit, making coffee and enjoying a piece of cake.

That combination of speed and control, of lightness and safety, is hard to describe, it simply has to be experienced.

We shared laughter on board, welcomed friends, and created memories that will stay with us forever. We fell asleep to the sound of the sea and woke up to sunrise with a cup of coffee in the cockpit, moments that are hard to put into words.

We sailed alongside whales and dolphins, fished from the boat, salmon, tuna, rockfish, mahi-mahi, and enjoyed fresh prawns and crab we caught ourselves. Evenings filled with sunsets, barbecues on deck and time together.

Wikiwiki made all of this possible – reliably, safely, and with the effortless performance she is known for!

Now the time has come for us to say goodbye.
Our sons have grown up, new adventures lie ahead, and it is time for us to downsize.

We would love to see Wikiwiki go to new owners who will appreciate her as much as we have, and who will create their own unforgettable journey with her.

Perhaps that journey begins with you.

Wikiwiki hat uns als Familie an Orte gebracht, von denen wir früher nur geträumt haben.

Mit ihr haben wir den Atlantik und den Pazifik überquert, die Karibik, Tahiti, Mexiko und die US-Westküste entdeckt und vor allem die wilde, wunderschöne Küste und die Inseln von British Columbia intensiv erlebt.

Sie war dabei immer mehr als nur ein Boot.
Sie war unser Zuhause auf dem Wasser, unser sicherer Hafen, egal wo wir waren.

Und gleichzeitig ist sie ein echtes Performance-Boot.
Es gibt kaum etwas Vergleichbares, als mit ihr über das Wasser zu fliegen, schnell, leicht und mühelos. Wir haben oft deutlich größere Yachten einfach hinter uns gelassen, während wir entspannt im Cockpit saßen, einen Tee tranken und ein Stück Kuchen genossen haben.

Dieses Gefühl aus Geschwindigkeit und Kontrolle, aus Leichtigkeit und Sicherheit, ist schwer in Worte zu fassen, man muss es erlebt haben.

Wir haben auf ihr viel gelacht, Freunde an Bord empfangen und unvergessliche Erinnerungen geschaffen. Wir sind mit dem Klang des Wassers eingeschlafen und bei Sonnenaufgang mit einer Tasse Kaffee im Cockpit aufgewacht.

Wir haben Wale und Delfine begleitet, vom Boot aus gefischt und unsere eigenen Prawns und Krabben gefangen. Abende voller Sonnenuntergänge, Grillen an Deck und gemeinsamer Zeit.

Jetzt ist für uns der Moment gekommen, Abschied zu nehmen.
Unsere Söhne sind erwachsen, neue Abenteuer warten und es ist Zeit, uns zu verkleinern.

Wir wünschen uns, Wikiwiki in gute Hände zu geben, an Menschen, die sie genauso schätzen werden wie wir und ihre eigene Geschichte mit ihr schreiben.

Vielleicht beginnt genau hier euer nächstes Abenteuer.
