Accommodation
The Hallberg-Rassy 382 offers the classic and highly regarded centre cockpit layout for which the model is known.
A spacious and well-protected centre cockpit provides excellent security underway.
Below deck, the bright saloon features two full-length settees surrounding the saloon table. The upholstery has been recently renewed.
To starboard is a practical U-shaped galley with generous work surfaces and storage. Opposite is a dedicated navigation station with forward-facing chart table and seat.
Forward is a double owner's cabin. Between the saloon and forward cabin are hanging lockers to starboard and the heads compartment to port.
A large full-beam aft cabin provides generous sleeping accommodation and storage.
The saloon also offers additional berths, giving accommodation for up to six persons.
Sailing Performance
Designed by Olle Enderlein, the Hallberg-Rassy 382 combines comfortable cruising characteristics with reassuring offshore performance.
The moderate displacement, protected centre cockpit and skeg-hung rudder have made the model a favourite among bluewater sailors for decades.
With Hydrovane self-steering, lithium batteries, solar panels and a watermaker, this yacht is well suited for extended offshore cruising and independent living aboard.
Engine
Powered by a Volvo Penta MD30A diesel engine (62 hp).
According to the owner, the following work has been carried out:
• New circulation pump (2021)
• Gearbox replaced/serviced (2024)
• New seawater pump (2026)
The owner states that the yacht has been hauled out annually and received regular maintenance throughout ownership.
Engine hours are unknown.
The engine compartment presents as clean and well maintained.
Condition
The yacht has been actively used for cruising and extended liveaboard periods. She is well suited for independent bluewater cruising and has been upgraded over the years with an extensive range of equipment and systems.
The owner has disclosed previous insurance claims. Supporting documentation from the insurance company is available.
As with any yacht of this age, ongoing maintenance, upgrades and general upkeep should be expected. Prospective buyers are encouraged to carry out their own inspections and, if desired, obtain an independent marine survey prior to purchase.
The yacht is currently ashore in Oslo, Norway, allowing easy inspection of the underwater hull.
Launching can be arranged for serious buyers.
