2002 Bavaria 50, 98.250 USD

This proven-in-action, passage-making Bavaria 50 is a reliable and efficient, ready-to-sail passage maker. She has proven herself in various offshore sailing passages around the world safely and without incident. The vessel has always been well maintained and improved over the years. This rare three-cabin version of the Bavaria 50 is a thoughtfully engineered cruiser that moves well in light air and carries ocean-rated credentials without sacrificing liveability. Its beam-driven stability and long waterline make it a forgiving passage maker. The current owners have sailed the vessel on long ocean passages from the Indian Ocean to Panama, where she awaits your inspection. Bavaria Yachtbau built the Bavaria 50 in Germany with a hull of hand-laid solid GRP below the waterline and sandwich construction above it. The Category A rating and the structural choices behind it place the boat in the company of serious blue-water cruisers rather than coastal weekenders. Overall, the Bavaria presents as a well-finished cruiser with a blue-water pedigree and enviable interior amenities and volume.
