MANUFACTURER’S COMMENTS:

Introduced in 2017, the Eagle 54 was designed in close cooperation with Hoek Design, one of the world's leading naval architecture offices. As you would expect from Leonardo Yachts, no compromises on beauty and elegance were made in the design. This 54-foot sailboat has timeless classic lines combined with modern features and a contemporary underwater ship, perfect for day sailing or a longer stay on board.

The Eagle 54 is designed with shorthanded cruising in mind. With its sleek design and state-of-the-art technology, the 54 ft sail yacht offers effortless handling, superior comfort, and an exceptional sailing experience. The large cockpit provides plenty of space for the crew to relax and take in the surroundings, while the boomvang and backstay are easily controlled from the helm via the hydraulic panel. The jib winches are positioned within reach of the helmsman, and a captive winch mounted below decks handles mainsheet trim at the push of a button, making her genuinely easy to sail single-handed.

Below decks, the interior reflects the same balance of elegance and performance that defines the yacht itself. As standard, the Eagle 54 is finished with a bright white interior beautifully accented by mahogany details, with the option of a full mahogany interior in either matte or high-gloss lacquer. From wood finishes and upholstery to subtle design elements, every feature can be tailored to the owner's preferences, making each Eagle 54 a truly individual yacht.

MANUFACTURER’S BACKGROUND:

Leonardo Yachts was founded by two brothers, Steven and Melle Boersma. With a grandfather who started building wooden racing dinghies in the 1950s and a father who specialised in the construction of steel motor yachts, Steven and Melle come from a pedigree boatbuilding family. Raised in the northern part of the Netherlands, where much of their youth was spent racing on the famous Frisian lakes, a passion for sailing was born.

Leonardo Yachts has a portfolio of customised modern classic daysailers called the Eagle. Their luxury daysailers embody the Spirit of Tradition combining the sheer beauty and style of classics with modern performance. Not to mention that their daysailers can be sailed single handed. All Eagle daysailers are custom made and completely built by hand. Eagle daysailers come with lifelong service and ongoing support worldwide that goes above and beyond the call of duty.
