The Vri-Jon Contessa 45E is a solidly built Dutch motor yacht with a practical layout and comfortable equipment for extended stays on board. The warm teak interior is complemented by blue carpeting and grey fabric upholstery. The forward section accommodates the galley, dinette and guest cabin with a V-shaped double berth. The owner’s cabin is located aft and features a freestanding double bed. The dinette can also be converted into two additional berths.

The Vri-Jon is powered by a 135 hp Ford Mermaid six-cylinder diesel engine with shaft drive. For easy manoeuvring, both the electric bow thruster and stern thruster were renewed in 2023. The navigation equipment includes a Raymarine Axiom 9 chartplotter, GPS, depth sounder, log and AIS.

The yacht is also comprehensively equipped for comfort and independence on board. Features include a 6.8 kW Vetus diesel generator, a Victron Quattro inverter and battery charger, an extensive battery bank, diesel hot-air heating, a 42-litre boiler, a four-burner electric ceramic hob and two refrigerators. Outside, the yacht benefits from wide side decks, a full stainless-steel railing, an integrated swimming platform, a folding stainless-steel swimming ladder with teak steps and stainless-steel davits for a tender.

The underwater hull was sandblasted in 2018, while the entire yacht was repainted in 2011 using a two-component paint system. The Vri-Jon Contessa 45E therefore offers an attractive combination of space, solid construction and comprehensive equipment.
