⚓ Key Specifications & Upgrades
Hull & Deck: Full preventative anti-osmosis treatment with 6 layers of two-component epoxy primer for ultimate fiberglass protection. Responsive tiller steering with fully serviced rudder bushings/bearings.
Rigging & Sails:
All halyards and reefing lines led aft to the cockpit for safe single-handed operations.
Forestay & backstay replaced in 2025.
Reinforced chainplates installed for both cap (top) and main (lower) shrouds to ensure maximum structural integrity and peace of mind in heavy seas.
Full-battened mainsail with 3 reef points. Genoa on a premium Facnor furler.
Winches: Two powerful two-speed Barbarosa 41 (Harken) sheet winches, two two-speed Lewmar 30 halyard winches in the cockpit, and one Lewmar 7 on the mast.
Engine & Mechanics: Reliable and highly economical 2-cylinder Lombardini diesel engine with only 1,260 running hours. Complex maintenance recently completed. Equipped with a 2-blade folding propeller to maximize sailing speed.
Tanks: Fuel capacity: 60L | Fresh water capacity: 120L.
Power & Autonomy (3 Independent Battery Banks):
Service Bank: Brand new (installed in 2025) high-capacity 320Ah text{LiFePO}_4 (Lithium) battery bank.
Engine Start: Brand new 60Ah starter battery (2025).
Windlass Bank.
Solar & Charging: Two 240W monocrystalline solar panels (480W total) mounted on a robust stainless steel radar arch. 3000W (12V-220V) inverter for household appliances on board, MPPT solar controller.
Electronics & Navigation (Premium Upgrade):
Wind, Weather & GPS: Airmar PB150 Ultrasonic WeatherStation (solid-state, integrated high-precision GPS, 3-axis compass, pitch/roll, and meteorological sensors). It provides ultra-accurate, stabilized true and apparent wind data, while acting as the primary GPS source for the navigation network.
VHF & AIS: Radio Ocean RO4800 VHF radio with built-in AIS receiver (fully integrated with the chartplotter to overlay AIS targets for collision avoidance).
Plotter: Raymarine E90W HybridTouch chartplotter.
Autopilot & Gauges: Raymarine ST4000+ autopilot, Autohelm Tridata (depth/log), Autohelm Wind (speed/angle), Autohelm Multi repeater, large Plastimo Contest 130 bulkhead compass, and a cabin CO (carbon monoxide) detector.
Safety & Bilge: Automatic electric bilge pump + manual backup bilge pump in the cockpit. Bombard liferaft included (requires service/inspection).
Interior & Comfort:
Generous Space: Excellent headroom in the main salon of approximately 180 cm.
Air diesel heating system.
Layout featuring an isolated aft master cabin (the most stable cabin underway) and a spacious main salon with comfortable cushions and mattresses.
Well-equipped galley with a built-in marine refrigerator and a gimballed 2-burner stove with an oven.
Enclosed marine head. Full energy-saving LED interior lighting.
Owner's Note: This Gib'Sea 31 was extensively refitted with no expense spared regarding structural strength (reinforced chainplates), standing rigging safety, high-end navigation electronics (Airmar PB150 & AIS), electrical performance, heating comfort, and blue-water independence.
