We are now offering our houseboat, Synvillan, for sale.

Synvillan was built in 2008 as a permanent residence and was used as a full-time home until 2021. Since then, it has served as both a workspace and a holiday home.

The houseboat is currently moored at a marina in the Nynäshamn / Stockholm area (Sweden) to which you easily get by car or public transportation. The berth may be transferred to the new owner, subject to the marina’s approval. The marina performs shipyard services if needed. Synvillan has previously been moored at several locations throughout the Stockholm archipelago, including Ornö.

Synvillan floats on four full-size and two half-size offshore buoys originally intended for deployment off the coast of northern Sweden. The buoys are made of rotationally moulded plastic. They are held in place by a steel framework, topped with pressure-treated and tarred timber. Above this is a conventionally constructed two-storey winter isolated house with a total living area of approximately 60 m².
