Coaster 515 BR: compact bowrider with Yamaha 60 hp
The Coaster 515 BR is a light, easy-handling bowrider, built by the Corsiva Yachting yard. At 5.10 m long and only 1.95 m wide, it fits into narrow berths and boathouses where larger boats have no room. The low weight of around 600 kg makes it easy to manoeuvre and easy to trailer. A grey hull, white deck, black rubbing strake and black fittings give it a modern, clean look.
Bow with sun lounge
The bow is laid out as a U-shaped seating area. With the infill cushion it turns into a large sun lounge where even adults can stretch out full length. The beige cushions have a fine diamond quilting. Under the seats there is storage with lockable lids. Right at the front is the anchor locker with a non-slip lid, plus a bow roller for the anchor. Two tall grab handles at the bow make getting on and off at the jetty easier.
Cockpit
The black-framed windscreen opens in the middle, so you can walk comfortably from the cockpit to the bow. The floor is covered with grey Camifloor in a honeycomb pattern, non-slip and pleasant underfoot. Driver and passenger sit on two bucket seats with diamond quilting. The front of the seat cushion flips up, so you can drive either seated or leaning while standing. At the helm, the stainless steel steering wheel, Yamaha digital display and throttle lever are laid out clearly. An illuminated switch panel controls the navigation light, anchor light and bilge pump. The passenger console has a glove box with a tinted lid and a grab handle. In the stern, a full-width bench seat with backrest offers room for more guests.
Stern and bathing platform
To the left and right of the engine there is a bathing platform with a non-slip pad. The bathing ladder makes it easy to climb back on board from the water. The anchor light mast stands at the stern, and the LED position lights are set into the hull sides. Black grab handles and cleats give secure hold everywhere.
Engine
The 515 BR is powered by a Yamaha outboard with 60 hp. That is enough for relaxed outings as well as a brisk run across the lake. There is no built-in tank: fuel comes from portable tanks, with space provided for two separate tanks.
