Construido en 1996 para sus primeros propietarios, el Outremer 38/40 está perfectamente preparado para todo tipo de actividades: navegación rápida, regatas o travesías en alta mar. El Outremer 38/40 fue el primer diseño de Gérard Danson construido en el astillero Outremer. Esta versión ya se construyó con el gran techo del OUTREMER 45, que ofrece más espacio y altura libre en el salón.
