My first Hallberg Rassy was the HR34, and it was the best sailing experience I had up to that point. Since the HR34 was not spacious enough for living and lacked storage space for my life on board, I looked for an alternative. It quickly became clear that I wanted a larger HR34 and found my dream ship, the HR412.
Sailing and living on the TWIST is a pleasure. Every detail feels valuable and solid, providing a sense of security in all weather conditions.
I am selling my TWIST because my life circumstances have changed, and I am looking for a new owner who will take care of her as this excellent ship deserves and cherish her.

The TWIST is a remarkably well-maintained example of this very limited but popular series from Hallberg Rassy. As an aft cockpit, it is quite special, resembling the very modern 400, but with a more traditional HR interior. The owner, with extensive experience as a machinist and long-time skipper, has taken excellent care of his TWIST and equipped it over time. During the inspection, hardly any open to-dos emerged, which the owner immediately addressed. When sailing, the 412 surprises with lively performance and easy handling even in light winds. All lines lead back to the cockpit, so the boat can be operated from here, even with the help of 4 electric winches if desired. The retrofitted Hydrovane is almost always in use, even on short tacks. The owner's feedback on the Hydrovane is extremely positive. Both sails are equipped with an electric furling system, operable from the helm. There are 640Wp solar panels on the bimini. The teak deck is glued and in good condition. The gelcoat on the deck and hull is also almost flawless.
Inside, the owner couple has ensured that the boat is always clean and tidy. This is partly because they sail a lot and good seamanship is important to the owner as a sailing instructor. The wood surfaces show only minimal signs of use. There are no discolorations from any leaks or persistent moisture. The high-quality woodwork still has the traditional HR atmosphere, while the bright ceiling lining and large hatches create a bright and spacious feel. The layout is the two-cabin version with two bathrooms and a large starboard locker. The engine (1,379h) is in excellent visual condition and has been continuously and proactively maintained.
Viewings can be organized by appointment. The vessel’s berth will be located in Spain from October 2026 onward. VAT is paid and verifiable with the original invoice.
TWIST is ready to sail and can be taken over without a long to-do list. Anyone who enjoys high-quality construction from a renowned shipyard, with great haptics and optics, will have a lot of fun with this HR412. Especially since the sailing performance is absolutely not neglected.
The current owner is happy to take the time for a comprehensive introduction of the new owner for a safe start with the new boat. He would also be ready to transfer the boat to north of Europe after the sale.
