2004 Bavaria 38 | Extensive 2025 Refit | Mediterranean Cruiser Ready to Sail
This 2004 Bavaria 38 is a beautifully presented cruising yacht lying afloat in Licata, Sicily. Following an extensive refit in 2025, she offers an excellent opportunity to enjoy Mediterranean cruising with confidence. Only her second owner has cared for her throughout.
Designed by J&J Design, the Bavaria 38 is renowned for balanced sailing performance, straightforward handling and spacious accommodation. Her shoal-draft keel, secure aft cockpit and practical deck layout suit coastal cruising as well as longer passages.
The 2025 refit brought significant upgrades, including new Supreme Sails mainsail and genoa, new running rigging, AGM batteries, a bow thruster, solar panels, sprayhood, bimini, lazy bag and rudder. The owner also commissioned a structural survey, completed a full engine service and arranged a professional rig inspection during the same year.
A Volvo Penta D2-55 diesel engine with approximately 1,500 hours provides dependable performance. Garmin and Raymarine navigation equipment, solar charging and an inverter support extended cruising. Below deck, the bright two-cabin interior features warm mahogany joinery, Webasto heating and comfortable accommodation for up to six people.
A Mercury tender, outboard, offshore liferaft and comprehensive cruising inventory complete the package. She is ready for her next owners to step aboard and enjoy the season.
