Notes

2003 Emka Mak Nine 31Ds, EUR 45,000

The Mak Nine 31 DS is a rare 2003 deck saloon cruising sailboat, sharing its efficient hull with the Emka 31 S / Elvström 31 S. Measuring 9.5 m (10.2 m with bowsprit) and 3.10 m beam, it is a solid GRP monohull with a foam-insulated deck, ensuring excellent thermal comfort and no condensation in winter.
Powered by a Vetus M3.04 (27 hp) with ~500 hours, it is reliable, fuel-efficient (~2.5 L/h at 5–6 knots), and regularly serviced. It carries 100 L fuel and 100 L water, plus a 30 L hot water system. A bow thruster (2024) enhances maneuverability.
Rigging was renewed in 2021, and sails include a furling genoa and a fully battened mainsail (with Harken Battcar system, 2024), optimized for safe solo sailing. Deck gear is high-quality (Harken winches, Lewmar windlass, stainless fittings), and anchoring is robust (50 m chain + 15 kg anchor).
Electrical systems include 12V/220V, lithium-type lead batteries, charger, and a 50W solar panel. Navigation is modern and integrated: B&G instruments, Zeus chartplotters (inside and cockpit), Raymarine VHF with MOB, and Simrad autopilot.
The Deck Saloon (DS) layout is the key feature: a raised, panoramic cabin with 360° visibility, offering exceptional light and comfort. Accommodation includes 4–6 berths (2 cabins + convertible saloon), a fully equipped galley, and a bathroom with shower. An interior steering position allows protected navigation in bad weather.
At sea, the boat is stable, safe, and relatively fast, with good upwind ability and excellent downwind stability. It is easy to handle short-handed, with all controls led to the cockpit and hydraulic steering inside/outside.
Key advantage: very rare model (≈7 built), highly sought after for comfortable, all-weather cruising
