Bayliner Boats – More Information

Over the past decades, the Bayliner shipyard has truly "discovered new horizons," in line with its motto. Better quality, a wider model range, and greater acceptance among European customers.

After an initially less than flattering image as a "Kleenex" throwaway boatbuilder, Bayliner powerboats today impress with outstanding value for money – on the used market, too!

Discovering new horizons

Bayliner has been selling sporty powerboats since the 1960s; back then still largely built from wood. In 1968 the yard switched to series production in GRP, achieving considerable success in terms of volume in the low-budget sector, internationally as well. From around the 1990s onwards, the quality of the boats improved considerably – today Bayliner competes at a high level with other yards in the mid-price segment.

A consistently focused model range

Bayliner builds uncomplicated boats with a rugged character, avowedly made for plenty of fun in your leisure time. The design of the boats is consistently geared to the American and Asian markets, but also has many enthusiastic fans in Europe. The model range includes deck yachts, center console boats, bowriders and cabin yachts from 16 to 26 feet (approx. 8 m) in length.

Bayliner and Brunswick

Bayliner is part of the Brunswick Corporation, one of the world's leading manufacturers of recreational boats, marine engines and boat accessories.
