Regal

From bowriders to luxury sport yachts, Regal covers almost the entire spectrum of motorized water sports. The yard is also a trendsetter in the wake and surf scene – perfect credentials for success on the used boat market at Boat24 as well.

A family-run company whose boats are considered trendsetters in nearly every kind of water sport. Highlights in the shipyard's history include the surf tab system for controlled surfing and wakeboarding as well as the FasTrac hull.

Paul and Carol Kuck, both of German descent, founded Regal Marine Industries in 1969. Despite the energy crisis that set in four years later, the family business grew into one of the most innovative and finely crafted powerboat builders in the USA. Today, Regal powerboats are regarded as state of the art, above all in fun water sports.

Innovative and down to earth

From the bowrider to the luxury sport yacht – Regal covers almost the entire range of motorized water sports. Regal is one of the first boatbuilders to explore innovatively designed hull shapes for powerboats. According to the yard, the patented FasTrac hull features a special stepped shape to improve aerodynamics and hydrodynamics. The FasTrac is said to lift the boat onto the plane faster and to use less fuel than conventional hull shapes at comparable performance.

Trendsetter in the wake and surf scene

The Regal Surf System is praised as another highlight in the wake and surf scene. It combines the Regal surf tab system with a special ballast system that makes controlled surfing and wakeboarding possible. The RegalVue display controls the left and right surf tabs and guides the surfer to the correct side by flashing the port and starboard rear brake lights. This is how "boarder and waver become one" (yard slogan).
