2007 · 2017 DIESEL REPOWER · EU VAT PAID
TWIN VOLVO PENTA D3-220 · 525 ENGINE HOURS · TURN-KEY FOR THE 2026 SEASON

Nearly every Larson 330 on the European market runs on petrol. This one doesn't.

A 33-foot American sport cruiser built on Larson's patented Duo Delta-Conic stepped hull — a shape long praised for its lean, athletic ride and unusual efficiency — and then comprehensively re-engineered for European waters. In 2017 the original 5.7-litre petrol sterndrives came out as a complete package and twin Volvo Penta D3-220 common-rail diesels went in. Not a repair. A conversion, done properly, that turned a weekend petrol cruiser into a long-range, low-consumption boat that does not otherwise exist in the model line.

The numbers are the argument. 525 hours since installation — around sixty a year, both engines serviced every season without exception. 908 litres of diesel gives roughly 920 nautical miles at an easy 8-knot cruise on about 8 L/h, or 540 miles at 25 knots when you want to move. That is real island-to-island range on a fraction of what a petrol 330 burns.

Two owners from new. A single careful US owner from delivery, then the current European owner from 2011 to today — fifteen years, full annual servicing, an unbroken maintenance trail, documented history available on request. EU VAT paid under Romanian flag, lying in the Mediterranean.

Serviced and ready. The 2026 programme is complete: oil, filters and O-rings on both diesels, the Kohler 5.5 kW generator serviced alongside, two new engine-start batteries, fresh antifouling and a full hull polish. A new Victron 300 Ah lithium house bank and 12,000 BTU inverter air-conditioning make her genuinely comfortable at anchor; full LED lighting keeps the hotel load minimal.

Living space that earns its keep. Full camper canvas and bimini over a cockpit with wet bar, convertible dinette and broad swim platform. Below, high-gloss cherry joinery and cream leather, 1.91 m headroom, two cabins sleeping six, a full galley with three-burner hob, microwave and new 130 L Isotherm refrigeration, an enclosed head with separate shower, and a Miele coffee machine that says most of what needs saying about how she has been kept. At the helm: burl dash, full analogue instrumentation, twin Volvo Penta displays and a 12-inch Garmin GPSMAP.

A buyer searching Europe for a 33-foot cruiser with modern diesels, low hours, recent service and VAT settled has very few genuine options. This is one of them.

EU VAT paid · Ready this weekend.
