Diese schöne Langkieler - Stahlketch ist aus unverwüstlicher Corten-Stahl-Legierung von der renommierten Yachtwerft P.Valk in Franeker (www.valkyachts.nl) nach Plänen und unter Aufsicht vom Designbüro de Vries Lentsch für eine Weltumseglung konstruiert und gebaut worden.

Die vielen Details und Optimierungen von bester Qualität sind wohl als einzigartig und neuwertig zu bezeichnen.

Kontinuierlich vom Voreigner - einem Schiffsingenieur - und Werftseitig in einem Pflegezustand erhalten, der sicher seinesgleichen sucht. Nahezu alle Ausrüstungsgegenstände von den Seeventilen (Schieber) die auch einen Betrieb im Eis ermöglichen, bis zu den Tanks sind überdimensioniert ausgeführt und finden sich sonst so nur auf großen Seeschiffen.

Im Laufe der Lebenszeit sind u.a. neben selbstverständlichen Wartungsmassnahmen wie eine vollständiges sandstrahlen vom Unterwasserschiff und sämtlicher Bilgen sowie anschließender Versieglung auf Epoxy-Basis auch ein neues Teakdeck verlegt worden. Die Motorelektrik wurde auf den neuesten Stand gebracht, der Motor - ein starker und unverwüstlicher BL Torneycroft mit 75 PS- revidiert sowie neue Segel und Bäume angeschafft. Alle Luken sind von Manship aus Edelstahl angefertigt worden. Ein Ersatzmotor ist ebenfalls vorhanden.

Alle Decksaufbauten, Handläufe, Relingstützen ect. sind zur Vermeidung von Korrosionsschwachstellen auf V4A Distanzstücken verschraubt. Die Scheuerleiste und der Deckshausrahmen wurden ebenfalls aus Edelstahl hergestellt.

Der Innenausbau aus hochwertigen Hölzern wie Teak und Mahagoni wurde erst vor einigen Jahren vollständig erneuert. Das Layout bietet einer Familie sowie auch Paaren ein hervorragendes Größenverhältnis. Eine große Nasszelle mit Dusche, Lotsenkoje, Sitzecke im Salon und Kojen sowohl im Vorschiff als auch in der Achterkajüte machen das Leben auf diesem Schiff zu einer wahren Freude.

Dieses Schiff ist für eine sichere weltweite Fahrt gebaut und derzeit für das Segelrevier der Eigner, vorwiegend die gesamte Ostseeküste, ausgerüstet.

This beautiful long-keel steel ketch was designed and built from indestructible Corten steel alloy by the renowned P. Valk shipyard in Franeker (www.valkyachts.nl) according to plans and under the supervision of the de Vries Lentsch design office for a round-the-world voyage.

The numerous high-quality details and optimizations can certainly be described as unique and in like-new condition.

Consistently maintained by the previous owner—a marine engineer—and the shipyard, the boat is in a condition of upkeep that is truly unparalleled. Virtually all equipment, from the seacocks (slides)—which also allow for operation in ice—to the tanks, is oversized and is typically found only on large ocean-going vessels.

Over the course of its lifetime, in addition to standard maintenance measures such as a complete sandblasting of the hull and all bilges followed by epoxy-based sealing, a new teak deck has also been installed.

The engine electrical system has been brought up to date, the engine—a powerful and indestructible 75-hp BL Torneycroft—has been overhauled, and new sails and booms have been purchased. All hatches are made of stainless steel by Manship. A spare engine is also available.

All deck structures, handrails, stanchions, etc. are bolted to V4A spacers to prevent corrosion weak points. The rubbing strake and deckhouse frame are also made of stainless steel.

The interior, featuring high-quality woods such as teak and mahogany, was completely refurbished just a few years ago. The layout offers excellent proportions for both families and couples. A spacious bathroom with a shower, a pilot’s berth, a seating area in the saloon, and berths in both the fore and aft cabins make life aboard this vessel a true pleasure.

This vessel is built for safe worldwide cruising and is currently equipped for the owners’ sailing area, primarily the entire Baltic Sea coast.
