Riva Aquarama No. 415 was built in 1970 and belongs to the third series of the Aquarama, representing a mature stage in the evolution of Carlo Riva’s legendary runabout.
One of the distinguishing technical features of this series is its more pronounced V-shaped hull, developed to provide improved handling, stability and comfort, particularly when cruising in choppy water. The deeper-V configuration gave the later Aquaramas a more capable and refined ride while preserving the performance and elegant proportions that defined the model.
The boat measures 8.30 metres in overall length, with a maximum beam of 2.62 metres and a draft of 0.56 metres. Its net weight is approximately 3,000 kg.
Aquarama No. 415 is powered by two Riva Crusader V8 engines, each producing 220 HP with just 239 hours of navigation.
The combination of the third-series V-shaped hull, twin V8 power and mahogany construction represents one of the most developed expressions of the classic Aquarama before the subsequent evolution of the model into the later versions.
