The Performance version differs significantly from the standard Dufour 44 and features, among other upgrades, a taller performance mast, deep lead keel, Dyform / compacted-strand stainless steel standing rigging, Dyneema running rigging, adjustable genoa tracks, Holmatro hydraulic backstay tensioner and Performance deck equipment.
The yacht has a three-cabin, two-head layout and offers an attractive combination of performance sailing and comfortable cruising. With an extensive inventory of Elvstrøm Carbon/Tecnora sails, two spinnakers, carbon spinnaker pole, 400 Ah lithium battery bank, 200 A alternator, 55 hp Volvo Penta diesel and Volvo Penta three-bladed folding propeller, this is a yacht that deserves the attention of the serious sailing enthusiast.
The yacht has been continuously maintained and upgraded. The rig was inspected by Southern Cross Spars in Bærum in spring 2026, all through-hull fittings were inspected in 2026, and the JEFA rudder bearings were replaced in 2022. The teak deck presents well.
A previous grounding in 2021 is known and documented. Repairs were carried out in 2022 by Amundsen Plastservice AS in Asker under the professional guidance of Per Ferskaug and with follow-up by marine surveyor Are Wiig.
As part of the repair, the keel attachment was reinforced with large 5 mm acid-resistant stainless-steel load-distribution plates beneath the keel bolts, providing additional support well beyond the original standard arrangement.
The current berth may, subject to agreement, be used during the winter.
