1961 Schlichting Folkeboot, EUR 8,000

Verkaufe schweren Herzens ein echtes Stück deutscher Segelgeschichte. Dieses nordische Folkeboot (Baujahr 1961) ist laut Schiffsregister das allererste Folkeboot, das auf der traditionsreichen Schlichting-Werft in Lübeck-Travemünde vom Stapel lief.

Ein Unikat mit Seele: Der Sohn des Werftbesitzers begleitete damals persönlich die ersten Testfahrten auf der Ostsee. Ein wertstabiles Sammlerobjekt für Puristen und Liebhaber klassischer Klinkerbauweise.

Der Werftbesitzer hat mir nicht nur viel über das Folkeboot erzahlt, sondern hat mir auch zwei originale Verkaufs-Broschüren gegeben. Dort sind viele wichtige Information zu dem Schiff und außerdem gibt es auch eine originale Fotografie von dem Boot. Siehe Bilder

Zustand: Das Folkeboot ist in einem guten Zustand, Es wurden regelmäßig Holzteile wie z.B. Bodenwrangen erneuert. Viele Teile wurden regelmäßig mit hochwertigem Le Tonkinois Holzöl/ Lack behandelt. Der Mast wurde aufwendig abgezogen und mehrschichtig mit Le Tonkinois behandelt.

Das Unterwasserschiff wurde 2025 neu mit Antifouling behandelt.

Revier: Überwiegend Ostsee Greifswalder Museumshafen. Aktuell steht es in Potsdam für eine Besichtigung bereit.

It is with a heavy heart that I am selling a genuine piece of German sailing history. According to the ship registry, this Nordic Folkeboot (built in 1961) is the very first Folkeboot to have been launched at the historic Schlichting shipyard in Lübeck-Travemünde.

A one-of-a-kind boat with soul: The shipyard owner’s son personally accompanied the first test runs on the Baltic Sea back then. A collector’s item that retains its value, perfect for purists and lovers of classic clinker construction.

The shipyard owner not only told me a lot about the Folkeboot, but also gave me two original sales brochures. They contain a wealth of important information about the boat, as well as an original photograph of it. See photos

Condition: The Folkeboot is in good condition. Wooden parts, such as floor battens, have been regularly replaced. Many parts have been regularly treated with high-quality Le Tonkinois wood oil/varnish. The mast was thoroughly stripped and treated with multiple coats of Le Tonkinois.

The hull was freshly treated with antifouling in 2025.

Cruising area: Primarily the Baltic Sea and the Greifswald Museum Harbor. It is currently available for viewing in Potsdam.
