Klassischer 5,5 KR Seekreuzer (1965) – außergewöhnlich gepflegter Holzklassiker

Wir verkaufen schweren Herzens unseren wunderschönen 5,5 Troubadour Seekreuzer aus dem Jahr 1965, gebaut bei Matthiesen & Paulsen. Von diesem Typ wurden lediglich 11 Boote gebaut, eine echte Rarität.

Das Boot wurde über viele Jahre kontinuierlich gepflegt, regelmäßig gewartet und technisch wie handwerklich hochwertig überarbeitet. Aufgrund von Familienzuwachs möchten wir uns vergrößern. Das Boot wird aktuell noch genutzt und ist segelfertig.

Der 5,5 KR ist bekannt für seine harmonischen Linien, ausgewogenen Segeleigenschaften und gutmütiges Verhalten. Besonders unter Segel zeigt das Boot sein sehr angenehmes und verzeihendes Fahrverhalten.

Classic 5.5 KR Sea Cruiser (1965) – an exceptionally well-maintained wooden classic

It is with a heavy heart that we are selling our beautiful 1965 5.5 Troubadour Sea Cruiser, built by Matthiesen & Paulsen. Only 11 boats of this type were ever built, making it a true rarity.

The boat has been continuously maintained over many years, regularly serviced, and refurbished to a high standard both technically and in terms of craftsmanship. Due to a growing family, we would like to upgrade to a larger boat. The boat is currently still in use and ready to sail.

The 5.5 KR is known for its harmonious lines, balanced sailing characteristics, and good-natured handling. Especially under sail, the boat demonstrates its very pleasant and forgiving handling.

Winter work 2024/2025 (completed):

Hull & superstructure painted
2× antifouling
Oil and oil filter change
New starter battery (70 Ah)
New sacrificial anodes
Propeller coated with Propspeed
New gas inspection (valid until 2027)

Winter 2025/2026:
Sanding & painting of hull and superstructure
Replacement of the stuffing box
New shaft bearing
New antifouling

Hull & Deck:

Mahogany on oak
Hull plating completely stripped & rebuilt in 2021/22 (approx. 15 coats of varnish)
Superstructure re-veneered in 2020/21
Teak deck on the foredeck, superstructure, and cockpit, refinished in 2020/21
Mast & boom completely rebuilt, 12 coats of 2K varnish
New standing rigging in 2024
