Die Triss Norlin wurde von dem bekannten Designer Peter Norlin entworfen. Curt Gelin (ein schwedischer Bootstester und Buchautor) beschreibt das Boot als hervorragenden Segler. Er ist die Triss an der schwedischen Küste gesegelt, die Windstärke betrug 14 m/s und das Boot segelte sicher und schnell. Sein Fazit war, dass die Triss Norlin sowohl auf Binnnenseeen, in den Schären aber auch auf der Küste sicher zu segeln ist.
Die Triss besitzt 4 Schlafplätze, einen Tisch unter Deck und blaue Sitzpolster. Die Polster wurden im Winter
immer im Haus gelagert. Das Boot ist in sehr gutem Zustand, kein Schimmel oder muffiger Geruch. Alle Polster sind sauber. Die Triss wurde mit Innenschale gebaut, so dass kein Kondenswasser entsteht. Unter Deck ist Platz für ein Porta Potti, wenn es benötigt wird.
