AKU AKU R è una barca di 65 piedi in alluminio, su progetto Germán Frers, costruita dal cantiere Scardellato.
Sulla barca sono stati eseguiti molti lavori di manutenzione, revisione di tutti i winch, revisione dell’albero, è stato installato un nuovo motore Yanmar di 210 CV, è stata data la prima mano di vernice all’esterno; all’interno è stata coibentata con un prodotto specifico di nome Isocoat: isolamento termico nano ceramico, per renderla perfettamente isolata.
Inoltre la barca ha un salpa ancora nuovo con una catena di 50m, un radar di marca B&G, l’antenna di marca B&G per la direzione del vento specifica da regata e 4 display B&G per velocità, direzione del vento, orologi ecc. sempre da regata da mettere sotto l’albero, il tutto da installare; la barca è completa di randa, fiocco e lazy bag.
Essendo una barca da regata sono state eseguite delle modifiche all’interno per renderla anche da crociera.

AKU AKU R is a 65-foot aluminum boat, designed by Germán Frers, built by the Scardellato shipyard.
A lot of maintenance work has been done on the boat, overhaul of all winches, overhaul of the mast, a new 210hp Yanmar engine has been installed, the first coat of paint has been given to the exterior; inside it has been insulated with a specific product named Isocoat: nano ceramic thermal insulation, to make it perfectly insulated.
In addition, the boat has a new windlass with a 50m chain, a B&G brand radar, B&G brand antenna for wind direction specifically for racing and 4 B&G displays for speed, wind direction, clocks, etc., also for racing to be put under the mast, all to be installed; the boat is complete with mainsail, jib and lazy bag.
Being a racing boat, modifications have been made to the interior to make it cruising as well.
