Why this Colin Archer-style yacht?

  • Heavy ballast, good draft, stable long-keel construction—excellent prerequisites for seaworthiness and long-distance voyages.

  • Deliberately built for longevity: steel hull, sturdy tanks, solid construction—in the spirit of Colin Archer’s classics, which were designed for heavy-duty use.

  • Made for cruising sailors: functionality, safety, and seaworthiness are the top priorities—not a “recreational boat,” but a vessel with high standards.

  • The 1.65 m draft, combined with over 5 metric tons of ballast and a wide hull, ensures reliable straight-line stability and minimal drift—just as one would expect from classic long-keel boats in the spirit of Colin Archer.

Condition & Miscellaneous
  • Condition of the hull and fittings: very good
  • Mooring: Winter storage at a shipyard in Fahrdorf

on the Schlei (offshore)
  • Oil and filter changes already performed

  • Fully seaworthy—with this construction, an Atlantic crossing is easily possible
