die Plane und der Spriegel sind runter und "eingesommert". Das Unterwasserschiff hat sein Antifouling bekommen, die Opferanoden wurden ersetzt und das Paddelrad für die Logge erneuert. Noch den Rumpf polieren und dann geht´s ins Wasser.
Die Rubicon ist dann bereit für traumhafte Fahrten durch die Kanäle und Seen im Binnenland. Mit 0,80 m Tiefgang ist das befahren fast aller Wasserstraßen möglich und dank Bugstrahlruder ist das Schiff auch in Schleusen sehr wendig.

Mit 130 PS geht es auch die Elbe, die Oder und sogar den Rhein problemlos stromauf.
Die dänische Südsee (Aerö) war schon Ziel und ein Spitzgatter-Schiff kann bekanntlich „…ordentlich was ab“.

Hi,
the tarpaulin and the bow frame are down and "stored for the summer." The hull has been treated with antifouling, the sacrificial anodes have been replaced, and the paddle wheel for the log has been renewed. Just need to polish the hull, and then it’s back in the water.
The Rubicon will then be ready for fantastic trips through the inland canals and lakes. With a draft of 0.80 m, it can navigate almost all waterways, and thanks to the bow thruster, the boat is also very maneuverable in locks.

With 130 hp, it can also navigate the Elbe, the Oder, and even the Rhine upstream without any problems.
The Danish South Sea (Aerö) has already been a destination, and as is well known, a Spitzgatter-class vessel can “really handle it.”
