In zeer goede staat verkerende Valkvlet 11.90 AK, van 1e eigenaar! Dit was zijn 2e Valkvlet, dus we kunnen hier spreken van een echte fan en liefhebber van de Valkvlet. Wij snappen dat wel. Maar, na 50 jaar varen en vooral genieten van hun Valkvletten gaan de jaren bij de eigenaren tellen. Bij de Valkvlet niet, die gaat ons allemaal overleven! De eigenaren hebben hun mooie "Barkarole" aan ons toevertrouwd vanwege onze ervaringen met deze schepen en vanwege onze passie met Valkvletten. Wij zijn er weer blij mee en zullen onze best doen een geschikte nieuwe eigenaar te vinden die "Barkarole'" nog lang zal koesteren.

Genoeg proza, over naar wat harde cijfers en gegevens. Deze valkvlet 11.90 AK heeft een zeer fijne indeling met veel leefruimte, zowel binnen als buiten. Op het riante achterdek is het goed toeven bij mooi weer en bij iets minder weer kan er binnen ook comfortabel gestuurd worden. Het schip beschikt over een ruime achterkajuit met vrijstaand bed! Dat kom je zelden tegen in Valkvletten. Voorin een ruime extra hut met V-Kooien, ook van een royaal formaat. Een zeer bruikbare natte cel met doucheruimte en de keuken domineren het midden-voor schip. De salon met stuurstand is voorzien van 2 practische zij-schuifdeuren en een opgang naar het achterdek. Gewoon een heerlijk schip.

De techniek is net als de rest van het schip super onderhouden, altijd door dezelfde technicus die veel Valkvlets nog steeds onderhoud. Verwacht geen moderne navigatie apparatuur o.i.d., dat is in de taal van de eigenaar - 'Fehlanzeige'. Of te wel, is er niet. Ja, een autopilot en boegschroef en dat voldoet al jaren.

Is er niets, maar dan niets op het schip aan te merken. Ja wel, het is tenslotte geen nieuwe Valkvlet. Voor het mooie, voor de perfectionist, moeten de lijfhoutjes en de railingen nieuw gelakt worden. Kunnen wij regelen. U bent tenslotte bij Terherne-Nautic BV.

A Valkvlet 11.90 AK in excellent condition, from its first owner! This was his second Valkvlet, so we can safely say he’s a true fan and enthusiast of the Valkvlet. We certainly understand that. However, after 50 years of sailing and, above all, enjoying their Valkvlets, age is starting to catch up with the owners. Not so for the Valkvlet—it will outlive us all! The owners have entrusted their beautiful “Barkarole” to us because of our experience with these boats and our passion for Valkvlets. We are delighted to have it and will do our best to find a suitable new owner who will cherish “Barkarole” for many years to come.

Enough prose; let’s move on to some hard facts and figures. This Valkvlet 11.90 AK has a very pleasant layout with plenty of living space, both inside and out. The spacious aft deck is a great place to relax in good weather, and in slightly less favorable conditions, the boat can be comfortably steered from inside. The boat features a spacious aft cabin with a freestanding bed! You rarely see that in Valkvlets. At the bow is a spacious extra cabin with V-berths, also generously sized. A very functional wet room with a shower and the galley dominate the mid-forecastle. The saloon with helm station features two practical side sliding doors and access to the aft deck. Simply a wonderful boat.

The mechanical systems, just like the rest of the boat, are superbly maintained, always by the same technician who still maintains many Valkvlets. Don’t expect modern navigation equipment or the like; in the owner’s words—“Fehlanzeige.” In other words, it’s not there. Yes, there’s an autopilot and a bow thruster, and that’s been sufficient for years.

There is absolutely nothing, and I mean nothing, to criticize about the boat. Well, yes, after all, it’s not a new Valkvlet. For the sake of aesthetics, for the perfectionist, the gunwales and railings need to be repainted. We can arrange that. After all, you’re at Terherne-Nautic BV.
