VINDÖ 50 (1974) – Classic long keeler, well-maintained & modernized

For sale: Vindö 50 (LOA 10.65 m / 35 ft, beam 3.10 m, draft 1.60 m, approx. 6.5 t). Purchased Oct 2025 for Baltic sabbatical. Ready to sail – no deferred maintenance.

Sails balanced and course-stable. Close-hauled ~40°, reefed genoa ~43°. Long keel provides steady behavior on all points of sail. Headroom 1.85 m.

Engine: Volvo Penta D2-55, ~2000h. Seawater pump replaced. 3-blade Korsør prop (2023). Hydraulic steering (Vetus) + Raymarine autopilot with wind vane mode (2016). Raymarine instruments (2016) & chartplotter (2019). SeaTalkNG network integrating AP, plotter, VHF with AIS. Electric system completely renewed (Philippi, 2020). Andersen 40ST self-tailing winches.

Sails: Quantum mainsail 28.3 m², mizzen 6.4 m² & roller genoa 29.3 m² (2015), 340 g/m² Dacron. New genoa sheets (2026). Standing rigging renewed (2017). Rig check Apr 2026 – good condition.

Tanks: 2 × 55 L diesel. 115 L stainless steel water tank (2025), 30 L plastic freshwater tank (2020). Pressure water system renewed (2020).

Teak deck renewed (12 mm strips, 2014). Cockpit rebuilt (2023): solid teak benches, mahogany veneer. Sprayhood & cockpit tent (Kalechesmeden, 2020). Mooring lines 2 × 10 m + 2 × 15 m (2026). Seatec round fender. Stern anchor with Mantus M2 – ideal for singlehanding.

Heating: Ardic 032 diesel heater, overhauled 2025 (new combustion chamber, new pump).

Condition: Antifouling removed & epoxy osmosis protection (2017). Independent survey Sept 2025 – very good, no defects. No osmosis/blistering. On hard every winter for 25+ years (Dragør, DK). Photo documentation.
