The Beneteau First 47.7 Regatta Edition is a GRP/fiberglass performance sailing yacht with a GRP composite deck and a lead deep fin keel drawing 2.80 m. Her fractional performance sloop rig has a keel-stepped mast, spade rudder and wheel steering. Overall length is 14.90 m, with a 4.50 m beam, approximately 12,045 kg displacement and 21.05 m air draft.

The sailing inventory is built around 13 sails, including carbon mainsails and genoas, spinnakers and storm sails, complemented by a carbon-fiber spinnaker pole.
