Moonen 72 “Royal Moon” – classic Dutch quality at its finest







The Moonen 72 “Royal Moon” is now ready for a new owner.

This yacht offers genuine Dutch design, solid craftsmanship, and a consistent feeling of quality throughout. Built by Moonen, she underwent an extensive refit at the shipyard in 2005, including the installation of a completely new and extended stern section. The result is an elegant, spacious, and exceptionally well-maintained yacht that combines timeless character with a modern appearance.







The saloon is bright and welcoming, featuring large windows and direct access to the aft deck through sliding doors. The modern galley is fully equipped, making the yacht ideal for longer stays on board. “Royal Moon” has been lived on comfortably for the past ten years, which is clearly reflected in the practical layout and warm, homely atmosphere.







Below deck, the forward section offers a generous VIP cabin with a double bed, escape hatch, and private bathroom. On the port side, there is a guest cabin with two single beds and an en-suite bathroom, while to starboard a large pantry is located beneath the staircase to the upper deck. Aft, the owner’s cabin spans the full beam of the yacht and features a large 200 x 200 cm bed and a private bathroom with shower and toilet – a level of comfort usually found only on significantly larger yachts.







The wheelhouse is equipped with sliding doors on both sides, making manoeuvring and mooring easy and efficient. From here, a staircase also leads to the flybridge. Aft of the wheelhouse is the large saloon with excellent visibility and direct access to the aft deck. On the starboard aft side, there is a staircase to the aft cabin as well as access to the engine room with full standing height. The rebuilt stern section also offers a door to the swimming platform, a separate toilet, an additional cabin with two beds, a washing machine, and even a sauna – while still providing ample storage space, for example for (electric) bicycles.
