Die Sportster von Rommel ist ein tolles Tourenboot mit der hellen und geräumigen Kajüte.
Sie erinnert an einen komfortablen 20er Jollenkreuzer. Mit der Compitition-Ausstattung (2,1 m Schwenkkiel, 2 gefeilte Saling plus Jumpstag) ist das Schiff sportlich zu segeln und regattatauglich. Die 3 Reffmöglichkeiten ermöglichen ein handiges Segeln bis zu guten 5 Bf (38 km/h). Ich segele das Boot auch einhand. Als Schlafplätze gibt es die Hundekoje, den »Salon« und 2x im Vorschiff.
Der hydraulische Schwenkkiel macht sie zu einem idealen Boot für die Elbe und flache Gewässer. Die elektronische Mastlegevorrichtung hat sie noch aus der Zeit in Berlin, wo sie auch gebaut wurde.

The Sportster from Rommel is a great cruising boat with a bright and spacious cabin.
It is reminiscent of a comfortable 20-foot dinghy cruiser. With the Competition package (2.1 m swing keel, 2-point spreader plus jumpstay), the boat is sporty to sail and suitable for racing. The 3 reefing options allow for easy handling up to a good 5 Bf (38 km/h). I also sail the boat single-handed. Sleeping accommodations include the doghouse, the “salon,” and two berths in the forepeak.
The hydraulic swing keel makes it an ideal boat for the Elbe and shallow waters. It still has the electronic mast-lowering system from its time in Berlin, where it was also built.
