Notes
1980 Hallberg-Rassy 38, EUR 90,000
Hallberg-Rassy yachts have long been regarded as some of the finest offshore cruising boats ever built, combining exceptional Swedish craftsmanship with timeless design. The HR 38, designed by Olle Enderlein, is particularly admired for its strong hull, comfortable motion at sea, and confidence-inspiring handling in all weather conditions.
HR38, built in 1980, has been owned by the same experienced sailor for the past 26 years, during which she has been carefully upgraded and maintained to remain a reliable and practical cruising yacht rather than simply a classic. With her proven bluewater pedigree and extensive equipment list, she is equally suited to coastal cruising and long-distance passages.
Over the years, the boat has received numerous important improvements, including refurbished teak decks, new deck hatches, solar panels, an electric anchor windlass, a new boom, modern navigation electronics, AIS, a Simrad autopilot, and a Windpilot Pacific windvane for self-steering under sail.
The yacht is powered by her original Volvo Penta MD21A engine, which continues to perform reliably, while the gearbox was overhauled in 2016.
Below deck, the interior features leather upholstery, a fully equipped galley with induction cooking, a Fischer Panda generator, and new batteries installed in 2026 for excellent onboard autonomy.
Her 2014 sail wardrobe remains in good cruising condition and is complemented by a 90 m² gennaker.
The underwater hull is reported to be in excellent condition, and the owner is including all usable onboard equipment, making this a genuinely turnkey cruising yacht with plenty of life left for her next owner.
