Esse 850 from August 2015, designed by Umberto Felci and built by the Swiss shipyard Schuchter Sportboats, is a sporty daysailer for those seeking racing performance combined with easy handling. With its length of 8.50 m and a light displacement of 1,600 kg, it offers a responsive, light, and fun sailing experience – even with a small crew or single-handed.

Equipped with a 3.5 kW WaterWorld electric inboard motor (installed in 2024) and 2 LithiumPro batteries, teak cockpit, self-tacking furling jib, gennaker, 2 winches, anchor, Raymarine e7 chartplotter, and TackTick Raymarine instruments. The boat sits on a trailer (not road-registered), and a winter cover is included.

North Sails (mainsail, furling jib, gennaker) together with a foiling jib from Ullman Sails (2021) complete a high-quality sail inventory, perfect for club racing or sporty day sailing.
