De Colvic Watson “Bolle” is een karaktervolle klassieke motorboot uit 1977 met de herkenbare, robuuste uitstraling waar deze Britse ontwerpen om bekendstaan. Met haar rondspantromp, doorlopende kiel en royale breedte van 3,25 meter is zij ondanks haar compacte lengte een verrassend ruime en degelijk gebouwde kruiser.
Het schip wordt aangedreven door een Leyland Thornycroft 62 PK viercilinder dieselmotor op schroefas. De doorlopende kiel draagt bij aan een rustig vaargedrag en biedt bovendien goede bescherming aan schroef en roer. Met gestreken mast bedraagt de doorvaarthoogte slechts circa 2,35 meter, waardoor een groot vaargebied bereikbaar is.
Binnen heeft Bolle veel klassieke charme. Het interieur is netjes afgewerkt in teakhout en de messing raamlijsten versterken de traditionele uitstraling. Ondanks de lengte van 8,70 meter zijn er maximaal vijf slaapplaatsen, een kombuis met vierpits gaskooktoestel en koelkast en een afzonderlijke toiletruimte.
Ook buiten is het karakter behouden met een teak belegde kuip en een strijkbare mahoniehouten mast. Het onderhoud is de afgelopen jaren gefaseerd uitgevoerd: de romp is in 2018 geschilderd, de dekken in 2020 en het stuurhuis is in 2026 opnieuw geschilderd. Ook de antifouling dateert van 2026. Een wintertent over het complete schip is aanwezig.
Er zijn enkele aandachtspunten voor een volgende eigenaar. Zo functioneert de vuilwaterpomp momenteel niet en dient het loszittende polyester aan de binnenzijde van de gasbun nagekeken te worden.
Een sfeervolle en eigenzinnige klassieke kruiser met een opvallend ruime indeling, veel teakhout en een stoere, tijdloze uitstraling.

The Colvic Watson “Bolle” is a characterful classic motorboat from 1977 with the distinctive, robust appearance for which these British designs are known. With its round-bilge hull, continuous keel, and generous beam of 3.25 meters, it is a surprisingly spacious and solidly built cruiser despite its compact length.
The boat is powered by a Leyland Thornycroft 62 PK four-cylinder diesel engine connected to the propeller shaft. The continuous keel contributes to a smooth ride and also offers good protection for the propeller and rudder. With the mast lowered, the clearance height is only approximately 2.35 meters, making a wide range of waterways accessible.
Inside, the Bolle exudes plenty of classic charm. The interior is neatly finished in teak, and the brass window frames enhance the traditional look. Despite its length of 8.70 meters, there are up to five berths, a galley with a four-burner gas stove and refrigerator, and a separate head.
The character has also been preserved on the outside with a teak-decked cockpit and a polishable mahogany mast. Maintenance has been carried out in phases over the past few years: the hull was painted in 2018, the decks in 2020, and the wheelhouse was repainted in 2026. The antifouling coating also dates from 2026. A winter cover for the entire vessel is included.
There are a few areas requiring attention for the next owner. For example, the waste water pump is currently not functioning, and the loose polyester on the inside of the gas locker needs to be inspected.
A charming and distinctive classic cruiser with a remarkably spacious layout, plenty of teak, and a rugged, timeless appearance.
