This Bavaria 38 has an 11.91 m LOA, 3.87 m beam and 1.70 m draft, with a 7,000 kg displacement. The accommodation comprises three double cabins, a spacious saloon, one electric head with macerator and holding tank, and a linear galley with a two-burner cooker, grill, oven, 12 V fridge and twin stainless-steel sinks. Tankage includes 150 L of diesel, 300 L of fresh water and a 60 L holding tank.

Propulsion is provided by a Volvo Penta MD2030 rated at 29 HP, with approximately 5,100 hours. Listed maintenance includes a 2026 engine service, partial overhaul, three new exhaust valves, a new cylinder head gasket and exhaust elbow, plus a replacement gearbox clutch, freshwater pump and injectors in 2021. The electrical system includes two 140 Ah service batteries installed in 2025, a 100 Ah starter battery, two 160 W solar panels, Victron charging equipment and a 500 W inverter.

Sailing equipment includes a Seldén 20 rod kicker, Furlex furling system, Quantum in-mast furling mainsail and Quantum 130% furling genoa, both renewed in 2021, together with a 60 m² gennaker and Heineke high-aspect jib. Deck gear comprises a 1000 W Lofrans electric windlass, 20 kg Mantus anchor, 75 m of 8 mm galvanized chain, four Harken self-tailing winches, teak cockpit, davits and a boarding ladder. Navigation equipment includes Geonav chartplotters, Raymarine autopilot and a Vesper Marine AIS transponder, currently not working. The underwater hull treatment was completed in 2024 with epoxy protection and Jotun antifouling.
