Also practical: there is a water tank of about 50 litres and a sink with running water. The toilet is manual and the discharge does not go directly to open water; during the works, a previous through-hull fitting was removed.



how is she equipped for off-grid cruising?
The boat is set up to lie comfortably even without shore facilities. She has shore power, a battery charger and an inverter, plus solar panels on the roof that support the domestic battery. There are three batteries in total with a combined capacity of around 400Ah, divided between starting, domestic use and the bow thruster. Cooking is gas-free on a two-burner induction hob and the fridge is a 220-volt unit. Photos of the work carried out are available, as are manuals. With a cruising speed around 7 kilometres per hour and a top speed around 11 kilometres per hour, she is suitable for relaxed cruising trips. what has been done to her in recent years?
A lot of attention has clearly been given to her. The polyester hull has been painted and no indications of osmosis have been mentioned. The underwater hull was stripped back and rebuilt with multiple layers of epoxy primer, after which she was finished with B Free antifouling. Work has also been done on the superstructure: the exterior has been painted, the woodwork has been varnished and a new fender rope has been fitted. The window rubbers have been renewed and the windows have been fitted with heat-reflective film on the inside. Inside, the ceiling has been renewed and the walls have been painted, contributing to a fresh, light impression.

Yes, the Draeck needs some love again, mainly on the cosmetic side. Think of varnishwork that needs attention here and there, both outside and on parts of the interior. She was taken out of the water in 2024 and the antifouling was also done that year, which provides a good base for the boating season.
