De romp is een solide handgelamineerde GRP-laminaat, met GRP-schuim sandwichdekconstructie, met multiplex achterplaten en metalen platen onder de bevestigingen. Westerly heeft altijd een goede reputatie gehad voor bouwkwaliteit, en de rompen hebben Lloyds-rompconstructiecertificaten - Lloyds specificaties (HCC SOU 016117).
De uitvoering van deze Westerly Typhoon 37 versie bestaat uit 2 hutten, een salon en 1 toilet. Het interieur is klassiek en functioneel, met kwaliteitsvol topklasse teak gemengd met kwaliteitsstoffen. De vloer in klassiek teak-en-holly met goede opbergruimtes.
