De Van de Stadt Madeira 44 is een snel en zeewaardig jacht, zeer stabiel. Het ontwerp is ideaal voor lange afstanden dankzij haar vaste doghouse en grote cockpit. Dit stalen jacht is door de eigenaar zelf gebouwd en in goede staat van onderhoud. In 2023 is zij geheel voorzien van een nieuw verfsysteem, de laatste antifouling is van juli 2025. Ze is een ideale combinatie van comfortabel leven aan boord en snel offshore-cruisen onder alle omstandigheden. De boot is eenvoudig door een kleine bemanning of zelfs solo te varen. 

Het interieur is ruim met een warme nautische uitstraling. Het timmerwerk is fraai uitgevoerd in een combinatie van donker hout en veel lichte panelen. Door de vele ramen en luiken komt veel licht binnen. Bij binnenkomst is aan bakboord de royale L-vormige kombuis, voorzien van alle moderne gemakken. Aan stuurboord er tegenover is de navigatiehoek. Midscheeps is de ruime zithoek met royale sofa's rond de tafel. In de boeg is de eigenaarshut met en suite natte cel. In het achterschip zijn twee hutten met in totaal 3 slaapplaatsen. 

De voortstuwing komt van een VW dieselmotor met 75 PK. Het voordeel van deze betrouwbare motor is dat in geval er onderdelen nodig zijn deze op veel plekken van de wereld beschikbaar zijn. De techniek aan boord is verder goed uitgevoerd en van alles zijn tekeningen beschikbaar.

The Van de Stadt Madeira 44 is a fast and seaworthy yacht, very stable. The design is ideal for long distances thanks to her fixed doghouse and large cockpit. This steel yacht is owner-built and in good condition. In 2023 she was completely refinished with a new paint system, the last antifouling is from July 2025. She is an ideal combination of comfortable life on board and fast offshore cruising in all conditions. The boat can easily be sailed by a small crew or even solo.

The interior is spacious with a warm nautical feel. The carpentry is beautifully done in a combination of dark wood and many light panels. The many windows and hatches allow plenty of light to enter. Upon entering the boat, on the port side is the spacious L-shaped galley, equipped with all modern conveniences. To starboard opposite is the navigation corner. Midships is the spacious seating area with generous sofas around the table. In the bow is the owner's cabin with en suite wet bar. In the stern are two cabins with a total of 3 berths.

Propulsion comes from a VW diesel engine with 75 HP. The advantage of this reliable engine is that in case parts are needed they are available in many parts of the world. The technique on board is well executed and drawings of everything are available.
