El Galante is een Gallant 53 sloop Van de Stadt design. Gebouwd bij Southern Ocean Ship Yard Limited door Tylers in 1973. Tussen 1967 en 1973 zijn er 22 gebouwd. El Galante is nummer 19 in deze rij.
