Notes
1980 Nauticat 33, DKK 396,000
For decades, the Nauticat shipyard in Finland has been synonymous with solid construction, safe sailing and an unbeatable combination of sailboat and motor sailor. Founded in the 1960s, the shipyard is known for building vessels that can withstand both rough weather and long voyages - all built to high quality with a focus on comfort, safety and durability.
The Nauticat 33 is one of the yard's most popular models and an icon among classic motor sailors. It offers a spacious and well-planned interior with a large saloon in the pilothouse, covered steering position and good living spaces both above and below deck. Its solid construction, large fuel capacity and safe sailing characteristics make it ideal for longer trips and comfortable sailing in all conditions.
This example is from 1980 and the current owner bought the ship in 2018 from a gentleman in Germany and the ship has been updated and maintained with the ship's origin in mind.
The engine is a freshwater-cooled Mercedes OM 602 90 HP diesel, which appears well maintained with just under 1,600 hours as well as a new stern tube bearing and newer deeps seal shaft seal (approx. 2023).
Highlighted equipment:
A Nauticat 33 like this combines classic charm with reliable engineering and modern conveniences - a boat that can be sailed comfortably by two people and offer the whole family safe and enjoyable cruising.
