This Moody 33 MK3 has a 10.00 m length, 3.50 m beam and 1.35 m draft, with a fin keel, skeg-hung semi-balanced rudder and wheel steering. The GRP deck is arranged for practical cruising, with an electric anchor windlass, 50 m of chain, Lewmar self-tailing primary winches, a swimming platform, boarding ladder, cockpit table and cushions. The Bermudan sloop rig has an anodised aluminium mast, a spinnaker pole and standing rigging renewed in 2015. Sails comprise a mainsail and furling genoa.

Propulsion is provided by the original Thornycroft T90 diesel, rated at 23 hp and coupled to a shaft drive with a fixed 2-blade propeller. The stated fuel consumption is approximately 1.5 L/h, with a cruising speed of approximately 5 knots. The fuel tank holds 120 L. The electrical installation includes a new 60 Ah engine battery, a 200 Ah domestic battery dating from 2021, solar charging, a battery charger, inverter, shore power and 12 V outlets.

Below deck, the layout provides two separate cabins and a saloon with convertible berths, sleeping up to six. Facilities include a Jabsco marine toilet, separate shower compartment with shower tray and pump, pressurised freshwater and a 200 L tank. The galley is equipped with a Flavel Vanessa two-burner gas cooker, oven, grill, refrigerator and stainless-steel sink. Navigation and safety inventory includes VHF, depth and speed instruments, navigation lights, a four-person Ocean Safety liferaft, six lifejackets and six safety harnesses. A 2 m inflatable tender with a Yamaha outboard is included.
