Notes

1949 Historic Sailingyacht, EUR 150,000

This is a beautiful 56 foot converted German fishing cutter.

This year 2024 REGINA has been in drydock to have a full hull survey, some wood repairs and new coating. The two masts were taken off, surveyed and got new coating as well.
Surveyreport available on request. In 2025 the deck has been renewed.

REGINA operated as a 56ft Oostsee fishing cutter until 1978.
These cutters were very famous for their seaworthiness.
Despite the heavy construction, they glide smoothly over waters. This is because of the shape of the underwater ship that has not changed since the 19th century. Long used for sailing ships with long keel S-shaped carveel construction.
REGINA is built in 1949 in Germany using 2.4inch oak planks on oak ribs of 4-8 inches.
In 1990, the current dutch owner bought the ship and named her REGINA. The original SKL engine was replaced by a DAF 1160 engine and new fuel tanks were installed.
REGINA was converted to a solid sailing yacht by the current owner as from 2001 upto 2014. It has sailed the Waddenzee and Northsea in friendly and not so friendly waters.

REGINA description
The vessel's 17 foot beam offers a very cosy saloon and galley area, featuring a dining table for 6 persons and plenty of storage. The galley is equipped with a 4-burner keramic stove, a singel stainless steel sink, and a large refrigerator with seperate freezer area. Plenty of hardwood countertops and cabinets all-in solid wood. The kitchen storage is designed with features for the high seas that lock-in various food containers and more.

The sleeping quarters include a queen size bed in the main private area. Two bunks in the peak. One cosey bunk on the galley. One bunk in the separate aftcabin. In the decksaloon the two benches can beconverted into two sleepingplaces.

The head has an electric pump toilet, a wooden watertight floor, and a shower.

The vessel is powered with a DAF 1160 , 168 HP diesel engine. A complete batteryset of 7 service batteries provides a 220V system on board.
There is central heating with radiators all through the boat.

The staysail schooner rigging allows you to handle all the sails as easy as possible with 3 man crewing.

If you want a classic sailing vessel capable of cruising all seas, this is a must-have.

REGINA is ready for people all over the world, who are looking for adventure and passion on sailing in the right and origanal way. A feeling for traditional craftmanship and aiming for long voyages and or living aboard. She is an eycatcher in every port she enters.

Reason for selling is time to end this because of age and health reasons
