This stunningly beautiful and rare teak classic is perfect for lovers
of classic lines.
The Sindbad was built in 1948 for a Bremen-based manufacturer using the finest materials.
The original construction plans from 1948 are still available.
This is a genuine vessel. The structure of the hull is clearly visible.
The large, open working deck with its small superstructure is impressive.
Below deck, we find the navigator’s station on a raised platform.
Below it on the starboard side is the galley area with 2.40 m of headroom.
In the saloon, the headroom is reduced to 1.90 m.
Above the saloon benches on the port side, there are two large pilot berths.
In the forepeak area, the interior fit-out is not yet complete.
The original Resopal paneling has been removed.
There is a nice bathroom forward on the port side.
Behind the galley is the aft cabin with a seating area and two pilot berths.
In 2014, Sindbad was acquired by the current owners.
In 2016, a high-quality new teak deck from Henningen & Steckmest was installed at a six-figure cost.
The rig and sails are in good condition.
Due to a death in the family, she is now looking for a new home.
