PINAFORE ist eine außergewöhnliche klassische Ketch / Spidsgatter aus ca. 1910 mit traditionellen Linien und einem sehr charaktervollen Holzinterieur.

Die Yacht ist 11,20 m lang, 3,20 m breit und hat einen Tiefgang von 1,60 m. Der Rumpf ist eine Holzkonstruktion mit GFK-Beschichtung.

Angetrieben wird PINAFORE von einem Mannheim Dieselmotor mit 28 PS, Baujahr 1983, über Wellenantrieb.

Im April 2025 wurde das Schiff von W-Yacht Consulting ApS im Rahmen einer professionellen Untersuchung der Seetüchtigkeit für Versicherungszwecke begutachtet. Dabei wurden Außen- und Unterwasserschiff sowie die innere Rumpfstruktur untersucht.

Der Gutachter bewertete die Yacht als in „reasonably good condition“ und „seaworthy“. Am Rumpf wurden keine strukturellen Schäden festgestellt, welche die strukturelle Integrität beeinträchtigen. Die sichtbare innere Holzkonstruktion wurde unter Berücksichtigung des Alters ebenfalls als allgemein gut und trocken beschrieben.

Ruder und Steuerung wurden als solide und funktionsfähig beurteilt, Propeller und Welle als in gutem Zustand.

Der klassische Innenraum bietet Salon/Dinette mit Tisch, Sitz- und Schlafmöglichkeiten, Pantry mit Spüle und Kocher, Stauraum sowie einen separaten Vorschiffsbereich mit Kojen.

PINAFORE ist keine moderne Serienyacht, sondern ein echtes historisches Fahrtenboot für Liebhaber klassischer Yachten und traditioneller Schiffbauweise.

Bei einem Schiff dieses Alters sind laufende Pflege und klassische Bootswartung selbstverständlich einzuplanen.

The yacht is 11.20 m long, 3.20 m wide, and has a draft of 1.60 m. The hull is a wooden structure with a fiberglass coating.

PINAFORE is powered by a 28 PS Mannheim diesel engine, built in 1983, via a shaft drive.

In April 2025, the vessel was inspected by W-Yacht Consulting ApS as part of a professional seaworthiness survey for insurance purposes. The survey examined the hull’s exterior, underwater sections, and internal structure.

The surveyor assessed the yacht as being in “reasonably good condition” and “seaworthy.” No structural damage was found on the hull that would compromise its structural integrity. The visible internal wooden structure was also described as generally good and dry, taking its age into account.

The rudder and steering system were assessed as solid and functional, and the propeller and shaft were found to be in good condition.

The classic interior features a salon/dinette with a table, seating, and sleeping accommodations; a galley with a sink and stove; storage space; and a separate forward cabin with berths.

PINAFORE is not a modern mass-produced yacht, but a genuine historic cruising boat for enthusiasts of classic yachts and traditional shipbuilding.

For a vessel of this age, ongoing care and classic boat maintenance are, of course, to be expected.
