This Columbia 57 is a fiberglass monohull with a displacement hull, semi-long keel and lead ballast. Her cutter configuration, closed stern and wheel steering are suited to experienced sailors planning extended cruising, with accommodation for up to 10 people in three cabins and two heads.

The sailing arrangement includes a single mast with double spreaders, a full-batten cruising mainsail, staysail and furling Yankee jib. Deck equipment includes a sprayhood, boom awning, cockpit table, external cushions, swim ladder, folding gangway, mooring lines, fenders and a 32 kg Bruce anchor with Lofrans Tigres windlass. Navigation and communications equipment includes Raymarine depth sounder and autopilot, VHF, Icom SSB and an EPIRB.

Below deck, the aft owner’s cabin has wardrobes and drawers, while the forward and midship cabins provide twin and bunk accommodation.
