Accommodation :
The Bavaria 36 offers spacious and versatile accommodation for up to eight people in three cabins and the saloon, making her an excellent choice for family cruising and extended weekends afloat. With approximately 6 ft 1 in of headroom and numerous portlights throughout, the interior is light, airy and surprisingly spacious for a yacht of this size. The well-appointed galley is equipped with twin stainless-steel sinks, a 12V refrigerator and a two-burner gas cooker with oven and grill, providing everything needed for comfortable cruising. She has two x 150 Litre fresh water tanks. Hot water is provided by the engine via a calorifier tank and 240V immersion heater. A radio/CD player provides entertainment aboard, while the attractive blue upholstery gives the saloon a fresh and welcoming feel. The large heads compartment is positioned forward and benefits from convenient Jack-and-Jill access, serving both the forward accommodation and main living areas. It is fitted with a marine toilet and 80-litre holding tank. Comfort throughout the season is enhanced by Eberspächer diesel cabin heating, making the Bavaria 36 equally suited to cooler-weather cruising. History and Construction:

This Bavaria 36 was built in 2002 by Bavaria to a J&J design.  The boat has a white GRP hull with a white superstructure and decks with non-slip surfaces, with stainless steel stanchions, a stainless-steel pulpit, a shallow-draft keel with a spade rudder and a self-draining cockpit. The yacht was last out of the water from October 2025 to March 2026 to have the hull checked and cleaned, polished, and for anodes to be replaced. The current owner has enjoyed the vessel for the last 15 years and is looking to move away from sailing due to health issues. The yacht has had two previous owners.

Sails and Spars: This Bavaria 36 has a Bermudan Fractional Sloop rig, with a deck-stepped Selden Aluminium mast and boom, with stainless steel standing rigging. The rigging is original, i.e 2002 and will need to be replaced, which is reflected in the asking price. Equipped with a Furlex furling headsail, a slab reefing mainsail and Lazy Jacks. This vessel also includes an aluminium spinnaker pole and a manually adjustable backstay. All lines are led aft to the cockpit.  Winches: 2 x Sheet winches, Harken, 2-speed, 40.2 self-tailing 2 x Halyard winches, Harken, single speed,  self-tailing Sails: Mainsail, Dacron, 2006, condition good Genoa, Dacron, new in 2007, UK Sails, condition good Cruising Chute, Kemp Sails, condition good Spinnaker, condition good Mechanical Systems: This Bavaria 36 is equipped with a Volvo 2030D diesel engine with 29HP, 3-cylinder, indirectly cooled with Morse controls. The engine hours are approximately 2065. The Saildrive gaiter was last replaced in 2014.  This Volvo engine is powering a shaft-driven2-bladed folding propeller and is supplied by a 150-litre plastic fuel tank. The engine was last serviced in March 2026; this vessel should achieve a cruising speed of approximately 6 knots and a maximum speed of 7 knots.

Electrical Systems: This vessel is equipped with 4 x 12v batteries. (3 x 110 AH domestic batteries, approx 5 years old; 1 x engine battery approx 10 years old) These batteries are all charged by the 60 amp engine alternator or from shore power via a 30 amp smart charger. There are a Sterling alternator manager and a Sterling zero-loss charge splitter management system fitted  This yacht also benefits from 240-volt shore power, with outlets throughout the vessel, along with a 240-volt immersion heater and a 20 Watt inverter.
