De NB Marine 8700 is een degelijk gebouwde Noorse motorboot met een praktische indeling en goede vaareigenschappen dankzij haar rondspantromp. Met een lengte van 8,80 meter en een doorvaarthoogte van circa 2,75 meter is zij geschikt voor zowel binnenwateren als ruimer vaargebied.
Het interieur is verzorgd uitgevoerd in eikenhout en biedt een lichte salon met prettige stahoogte. De dinette is om te bouwen tot extra slaapplaatsen, waardoor in totaal zes slaapplaatsen beschikbaar zijn. De kombuis is compleet uitgerust met gaskooktoestel, oven en diverse koelvoorzieningen. De natte cel beschikt over een elektrisch toilet en wastafel; douchen is mogelijk via de buitendouche in de kuip.
De Yanmar 125 PK turbodiesel zorgt voor betrouwbare prestaties, ondersteund door hydraulische besturing en een boegschroef. Het schip is verder voorzien van onder andere Webasto verwarming, boiler, Victron acculader en recente antifouling (2024). De lattenbodem in de voorhut is vernieuwd in 2023.

The NB Marine 8700 is a solidly built Norwegian motorboat with a practical layout and excellent handling characteristics thanks to its round-bilge hull. With a length of 8.80 meters and a clearance height of approximately 2.75 meters, it is suitable for both inland waterways and wider sailing areas.
The interior is tastefully finished in oak and features a bright salon with ample headroom. The dinette can be converted into additional sleeping berths, providing a total of six sleeping berths. The galley is fully equipped with a gas stove, oven, and various refrigeration units. The wet room features an electric toilet and sink; showering is possible via the outdoor shower in the cockpit.
The Yanmar 125 HP turbo diesel engine ensures reliable performance, supported by hydraulic steering and a bow thruster. The boat is also equipped with, among other things, Webasto heating, a water heater, a Victron battery charger, and recent antifouling (2024). The slatted floor in the forward cabin was replaced in 2023.
