1974 Broom Ocean 40, EUR 12,000

Ein schöner stabiler Oldtimer mit massivem Holzausbau und viel Platz, renovierungsbedürftig.
Das Schiff ist nur etwas für handwerklich begabte Bastler. Wir haben schon einiges gemacht aber leider keine Zeit.
Der Typ heißt wohl Ocean 40 und wurde in England gebaut.
Die Motoren laufen nicht und sind auch nicht fahrbereit.
Die Stahltanks sind rostig, ein neuer Kunststoff-Dieseltank liegt an Bord, ist aber nicht eingebaut.
Weitere Angaben als auf den Fotos habe ich nicht. Unser Plan war, das Schiff als Hausboot zu nutzen.

Der hintere Teil des Teakdecks wurde von einer Werft erneuert, der vordere Teil muss ausgebessert werden. Das Teakdeck hat aber keine dichtende Funktion, nur Optik, das Schiff ist komplett aus Gfk.
Auch die blaue Persenning und alle Polster sind neu. Genau wie 2 Pump WC´s, Kühlschrank und E-Herd.
Die Brückendurchfahrtshöhe kann durch Klappen des Geräteträgers auf ca. 4m reduziert werden.
Bei ernsthaftem Interesse einfach ansehen. Der Liegeplatz ist bis Oktober 26 bezahlt.
Bitte bedenken, das ist viel Arbeit und es geht sicher auch noch Geld rein!

A beautiful, sturdy classic boat with solid wood interior and plenty of space, in need of renovation.
This boat is only suitable for handy DIY enthusiasts. We’ve already done quite a bit of work on it, but unfortunately we don’t have the time.
The model is apparently called Ocean 40 and was built in England.
The engines do not run and the boat is not seaworthy.
The steel tanks are rusty; a new plastic diesel tank is on board but has not been installed.
I don’t have any more information than what’s shown in the photos. Our plan was to use the boat as a houseboat.

The rear section of the teak deck was replaced by a shipyard; the front section needs to be repaired. However, the teak deck serves no waterproofing function—it is purely for aesthetic purposes; the boat is made entirely of fiberglass.
The blue tarpaulin and all upholstery are also new. As are the two pump toilets, refrigerator, and electric stove.
The bridge clearance can be reduced to approx. 4 m by folding down the equipment rack.
If you are seriously interested, please come take a look. The mooring is paid for until October 26.
Please keep in mind that this requires a lot of work and will certainly require additional investment!
