't Bruine Leven has been used for live aboard and has been used for day trips since 2006. In 2009 't Bruine Leven has been refitted by Shipyard SRF and in 2012 a new Steyr engine has been installed. In 2021, the anchor winch was completely overhauled and all discharge holes were also replaced and new pipes welded in.
